About us

Hey, I’m Ed, founder and CEO of EdJ VNTGE.

EdJ VNTGE isn’t your typical vintage clothing store. We’ve created a new kind of experience that blends sustainability, simplicity, and style. Our signature product, the Vintage Mystery Box, gives customers a unique way to shop vintage. You choose how many items you want, let us know your size, and our team curates a box just for you. Every item is handpicked, quality-checked, and packed with care. No two boxes are ever the same, and that’s exactly what makes it special.

We’ve built a global community around this idea and grown something real from what started as a simple love for old clothes with a story. We've now sold over 200,000 Mystery Boxes around the globe and that number is climbing month on month...

The Story So Far

My love for vintage began when I was 17, selling secondhand clothing from a local market stall. I’d spend full days standing around just to make a single sale, but that one sale meant the world. I was constantly on the hunt for hidden gems in charity shops, flipping them online, and selling to friends at school. Eventually, people started to recognise that I had the best pieces and the best prices.

That’s when I decided to turn this into something more than a side hustle. I named it EdJ VNTGE and never looked back.

After finishing school, I skipped university and took a shot on the business, running everything from a garden shed. The early months were tough, and the results were slow. Then came the moment that changed everything. I realised customers were buying similar combinations - a jacket, a layer, and a pair of trousers - and I bundled them into what would become the Vintage Mystery Box. From that moment on, everything began to click.

Today, EdJ VNTGE is powered by a team of 14 people. Who pick, pack and curate 300 orders a day! We’ve grown from a bedroom setup to a full warehouse operation, and we’re still just getting started.

Vintage With Purpose

Sustainability has always been at the heart of what we do. We believe fashion should be circular, not disposable. Every item we send out is one less piece going to waste, and we’re proud to offer people a more conscious way to shop.

For items that don’t meet our standards, we’ve partnered with The Salvation Army for over three years. So far, we’ve donated more than 50,000 pieces of clothing to help support those in need. It’s a part of our journey we care deeply about and always will.

What’s Next?

EdJ VNTGE continues to grow, but we’re not here to chase trends. We’re here to build something lasting — a brand that stands for originality, purpose, and community. We’re proud of where we’ve come from and excited for what’s ahead.

Whether you’re here to grab your first Mystery Box or you’ve been with us since the early days, thank you. This brand was built for people like you — people who care about good style and making good choices.

When you're ready, we’re here to create something just for you.
